BART service normally ends each day around midnight. (You wanna know why, long story short, maintenance, go here if you want to read more about it.) But this Labor Day weekend, BART operates all night long because Caltrans is closing the Bay Bridge in both directions for earthquake retrofit work. 

BART is running hourly, overnight service to 14 stations Friday, September 4th through Monday, September 7th. We're operating longer trains the entire weekend, and on Monday, September 6th (Labor Day) we're operating a Saturday schedule. If you're planning to ride BART's overnight service, remember to board at a station that will be open overnight to avoid being stranded.
